During your first quarter, you learned about fractions which is related to your lesson this quarter. In this module, you are going to demonstrate understanding of decimals by giving the place value and the value of a given digit of a given decimal number through ten thousandths (M5NS-Iia-101.2).

            After going through this module, you should be able to:

a) give the place value of a digit of a given decimal number through ten thousandths ; and

b)give the value of a digit of a given decimal number through ten thousandths.

In this module, you are now going to add and subtract decimal numbers through thousandths without and with regrouping (M5NS-IIb-6.1).
