This module intends to give you knowledge about the elements and principles of arts and crafts inspired by the cultures of Southeast Asia and let you discover its contribution to the history of the world of arts.

To the learner, you will know about the different characteristics, functions and

types of art forms (painting, sculpture, architecture) from western and Classical arts

Traditions. You will identify distinct characteristics of arts during the different art

periods. You will also compare the characteristics of artworks produced in the different

art periods.

This module will help you discover the characteristics of arts and crafts of Luzon – attire, fabric, tapestries, crafts, and body ornamentation. Let this module bring you to the world of arts and crafts in Luzon highlands and lowlands.
