The students are encouraged to use modals verbs to express possibility, ability, permission ,and obligation in sentences.

The purpose of English 8 is to further develop your reading, writing, speaking, listening, and critical thinking abilities. We will explore significant pieces of literature, conduct several styles of writing, hold meaningful discussions, practice grammar, and expand vocabulary.

This course aims to enhance communicative competence through understanding of literature and other texts types for a deeper appreciation of World Literature, including Philippine Literature.

Grade 7 students will improve their communication skills, their reading and writing and will also be learning media literacy skills.
