The MAPEH 10 is created to cater to the needs, skills, and abilities of the junior high school students in compliance with the Department of Education’s K to 12 Program. It is designed to offer relevant and updated concepts and skills that will enhance the knowledge and skills of the students about the different components in MAPEH.
The Music and Art are performance-based disciplines. Effective learning occurs through active experience, participation, and performance, creative expression, aesthetic valuation, critical response, and interpretation.
Physical Education contributes to the development of fitness, health and wellness among the students. It promotes the development of a participative and active body. The desire to become physically fit aids an individual in successfully participating in activities appropriate at various stages of life.
Health focuses on the physical, mental, emotional, social, moral, spiritual dimensions of holistic health. It enables students to acquire essential knowledge, attitudes, and skills necessary to promote good nutrition, prevent and control disease and substance misuse and abuse.
