Lesson Objective:
1. Note details in stories (character, setting, and events)
Introduction:
Character/s: They are the ones acting and, or talking in the story.
Examples of characters can be names of persons or animals.
One day in the market, mother buys food stuff. She called Ben. "Carry this basket for me", she said. "Let's go home now".
characters: mother and Ben (because mother is the one talking and Ben is the one acting)
Setting: Place and, or date, day or time when the story happened.
Setting: one day, in the market
Events: The activities that happened in the story. Action words can be indicator of activities.
Event: Mother buys food stuff. Ben carries the basket. They go home.
